I will arrange a more personalized meeting so that the employee gets full attention and feels like part of the family. Based on the ABC model, affect is an emotional component; therefore, when a person feels emotionally positive toward an organization, his or her attitude toward that organization will also be positive. To keep Affect theory in mind, I will try to promote a positive emotional feeling that can be transformed into a positive attitude. Additionally, I will try to understand the reason for the lack of engagement. If this is caused by another employee or the political environment of the organization, then I can work to resolve the problem. Additionally, I will indirectly promote organizational value in a way that the employee can feel connected to the organization's mission and feel motivated to offer 100% of their attention and dedication. If this personalized attention works and the employee shows improvement in engagement, then I will offer them a reward that allows them to continue working in the same way. Additionally, I want the reward to be something that is of value to the employee rather than what I think is important. Once the employee feels welcomed and valued, they will most likely avoid bad relationships and demonstrate positive organization.
