I know you're expecting to read just another boring essay written by an 8th grader; you are one hundred percent right, but let's try to make this essay more interesting than average, let's have fun. If you were captured by Indians and then forced to live in the open air, what would you think? If it were me, I know I would freak out and go crazy! My character's name is Francis Tucket (Mr. Tucket) from the book Mr. Tucket by Gary Paulsen. This fourteen year old boy is very adventurous and exciting to read. He lives with this crazy guy named Mr. Grimes. Mr. Grimes becomes Francis' mentor and companion; basically, he shows and teaches Francis everything he knows. Mr. Grimes only has one arm but he is still capable of doing anything that someone with two arms can do. The character of Francis Tucket created by Gary Paulsen is exceptional, he is very bold, confident, courageous and fearless.
