1. IntroductionThe following is a research design that reflects on college students' alcohol consumption. It provides a literature review that will define the problem, the prevalence, identify the implications, describe some of the previous studies that have been done in this area and what their limitations are. Present the current study, the research topic evaluating the effects of alcohol consumption on university students. Explore the gaps that may arise between past and current literature. Identify the dependent and independent variables, mention the importance of the research questions, and explain some of the concepts that emerged in the research design.2. Literature ReviewLiterature review is an essential preliminary task in a research study; this helps to provide clarity and focus on the current research topic, improve the methodology, enrich the knowledge base and contextualize the findings (Kumar, 2005).2. 1.
