In the book “True North: Discover Your Authentic Leadership” written by William George, professor at the Harvard School of Business and former president of Medtronic Inc. Leadership is described as a productive process. key in society throughout the experience. It's about being in the best place that fits your perspective, which is why "True North" was written to answer some questions about success and failure in leadership. The book begins by discussing the crisis in America, it first describes one of the traits of leaders and that is “Confidence”. In business, there are several companies that tend to produce and serve customers; however, its success relies on the relationship with customers, if companies violate trust or credibility of meeting expectations; then their market shares will decrease. For example: At Medtronic Inc, the company serves a healthy industry, so people expect good products for the welfare of the country, if it turns out to be bad, they will not be able to continue. He continues “How to Learn from Authentic Leaders” which talks about a study of 125 successful leaders from different demographics and geographies. He states that there is no particular leadership style that makes a person successful, there are different characteristics, which is why it is difficult. to highlight just one. “The reality is that no one can be authentic by trying to be like someone else” (True North, p. 8). Leaders therefore have distinctive qualities that cannot be described by lists of traits alone. Additionally, a unique legend for leaders is that leadership emerges from the story of life; they usually release a certain type of passion that motivates some sort of goal. For example: Dick Kovacevich, CEO of Wells Fargo, says his academic ranking in business...... middle of paper ...... is problematic. In light of this, you will be able to empower others to lead and define the values to be achieved. Ultimately, we realize that there is no shortage of leaders, but within every group there is a leader waiting for their chance, so William George asks everyone these questions: If this isn't me, so who? If not now, then when? Many are afraid of failure and criticism and therefore reject their main ideas. However, the risk is worth it, because the man who tries is the man who lives. So are you ready to continue, because if you have achieved the greatest success, then you can experience fulfillment in leadership, and when you share your values and goals, you surround yourself with enthusiastic people who aspire to success. and serve society to become a better place.
