Have you ever wondered what true happiness is? Or what is life like in a Promised Land? Or simply how can a priest live a happy life if he has to give up a lot of things? Or have you ever wondered what your purpose in life is? Why are we all here on Earth? I believe that each of us lives in this world with a purpose. It may be big or simple, but we are all called by God to accomplish certain tasks. And as we accomplish this task, we must always be prepared to face all kinds of challenges along the way. Just like in the old days, before Jesus walked the face of the Earth. Many people were called by God to fulfill a mission, as He prepared a promise for all mankind. A mission that he believes is so important to accomplish in order to achieve a life of eternity with him. And those people who accomplished all the tasks are all recorded in history as having contributed greatly to the realization of God's greater purpose. Such an important project that we now have the chance to experience and which is to be able to live in the Promised Land. A land filled with happiness. I could only imagine all the obstacles or painful experiences that people of the past like Abraham, Jacob, and Moses had to go through in order to pave the way for us to enjoy the so-called Promised Land. Sacrifices that ordinary people may find impossible to surpass. Consider the great test imposed on Abraham when God asked him to sacrifice the life of his beloved son Isaac. It was a huge test that he was able to pass because of his obedience to the Lord. And since these people were given certain tasks by our Lord which they greatly tried to accomplish, we can now rest assured that as long as we follow...... middle of paper ......ication or connection with the Lord is another key to living a happy life. A life guided by the Holy Spirit is always a life of happiness. Certainly, problems here and there will come your way, but once you are constantly in touch with the Lord, you will be assured of the best possible way to handle problems. Happiness is an elusive dream for some as a life without God is never realized and a life filled with superficial happiness is also not considered happy. It's because this type of happiness, I think, is fleeting. Things may not turn out the way you want, but God's greater plan will always prevail. And we must always keep this in mind: we must always be an example to others by the way we live. Just like the famous saying, while we live our life, we should always be a blessing to others, and that alone is an important goal in life..
