    Blow the lighter on federal marijuana legalization, as we look at some important reasons why marijuana should become legal. Marijuana is clearly different from cigarettes and alcohol, which are extremely toxic and deadly to the human body and those around it. Marijuana is not a drug with side effects that last as long as cigarettes or alcohol. Unlike alcohol and cigarettes, one argument is that it is probably the safest drug in the world, contrary to how the federal government controls it. We also have various arguments from a medical perspective and how they claim it can benefit various people. Then there is another argument that argues that even if marijuana remains illegal, we will see an increase in criminal activity not only in the United States but also abroad. We must realize that legalizing marijuana would be a big step forward. creating a sense of income in the United States without the problems of alcohol and cigarettes. Marijuana can ruin people's lives by creating a criminal record for those who simply choose to possess and smoke marijuana. Why should the government continue to harm a drug that has virtually no reason to be banned? Children are also affected by the legal battle of marijuana legalization, with some states legalizing it at the state level, we still see that it is only legal above the age of 18.
