Essay / Mac vs HP - 673
There are many different types of laptops on the market. For this discussion, we will compare the HP and the MacBook Pro. Both have good qualities. The MacBook Pro stands out in three ways. One on the design, two on the operating system, and three on the unique way the power cords were designed. On both laptops, HP has a higher market share due to the price and gaming aspects. Gamers prefer HP over MacBook Pro because they have a better operating system for gaming. Both laptops have advantages and disadvantages. The MacBook Pro design looks sleeker. It has a brushed aluminum body for greater rigidity. Flash memory, which saves weight and speed, operation is extremely quiet. Booting up is pretty quick compared to any Windows PC I've used. The power cord's unique magnetic design makes it safer because you can't damage anything if you accidentally trip over the cord. The battery is larger and has a lifespan of nine hours. By design, however, the HP I previously owned was boring, black, plain, and plastic. The HP has a hard drive which makes it heavier and the boot process slower than the MacBook Pro. The HP's power cord plugs in and if it were to accidentally trip over or be pulled out, it could cause serious internal damage to the battery and prevent the battery from charging. The HP's battery is removable so you can have an extra battery for backup. The MacBook Pro has an incredibly powerful operating system called OSX Mavericks. One of the wonderful things about the MacBook Pro operating system is that it doesn't come with any trial software that can take up memory or slow down the system. The HP comes with a lot of trial software which caused a lot of pop-up ads middle of paper...... an anti-virus system known as Norton or you can use another one as it There are several antivirus software on the market, some are paid, others are free and many times free is not always preferable. Both of these laptops are powerful machines with the potential to make a user's work easier. It depends on the preference of what an individual would look for in a laptop. The HP using Windows has advantages in the areas of gaming and cost due to the low price of the individual laptop. The impact-resistant yet stylish brushed aluminum look of the MacBook Pro is very attractive. With the secure OSX Mavericks operating system and other forward-thinking elements like the magnetic power cord, its higher price is well worth the cost for many consumers. In both cases, you are sure to find the laptop that suits your needs and your wallet..
