    Looking closely at philosophy, it is the study of problems related to existence, values, knowledge, mind, language and reason. This implies that philosophy is the study of approaching problems on the basis of rational argument. It is a well-documented fact: the word philosophy is a Greek word meaning love of wisdom. As the name suggests, philosophy is related to many topics such as politics, religion and ethics, among others that involve absolute wisdom. In recent years, researchers have continually raised questions regarding the topics, highlighting various critiques emerging about intelligent design (Dembski, 2002). With this in mind, this article seeks to discuss what Intelligent Design [ID] claims to be, science and faith; Additionally, he will discuss the scientific critique of IDWHAT's intelligent design claims. Intelligent design asserts that living things and features of the universe are best explained by an intelligent cause and not by natural cause or selection. In other words, philosophy seeks to analyze that only the influence of an intelligent power explains the diversity and complexity that we witness today. According to Machen (1991), ID redefines science significantly to the extent that it invokes a supernatural point of view thus deserving irreducible criticism. Without doubt, the ID argument is one of the fundamental religious arguments for the existence of God that have been around for centuries. In the 13th century, Thomas Aquinas emphasized that intelligence allows natural things to achieve the best results while setting goals (Machen, 1991).
