  • Essay / Demonic References in the Bible - 1070

From the depths of a dark cave on the other side of Galilee, in the land of the Gadarenes, emanated the most hideous cry. The cry was an audible signal for all travelers to stay away from haunted tombs. Those who knew better feared the dark figure that lurked there, hidden in the rocks. Stories circulated telling of an unconstrained madman who could not be held captive. With herculean strength, he had repeatedly broken all the constraints imposed by his captors. Not only did he easily break free from their tight bonds of chains and chains, but he became an unpredictable madman on the loose. It was demons who pushed him into the barren desert.
