Boston Marathon Bombings 2013/Who Did It?!Introduction“The media is the most powerful entity in the world. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and the guilty innocent, and it is power because they control the minds of the masses. » (Malcolm X). One of the most controversial topics that has been featured on local and international television news, radio stations, newspapers, magazines and social media is the Boston Marathon bombing which occurred on April 15 last year. There were many opinions about who committed this massacre. Many media outlets believed the entire crime was staged, but some of them were quick to point the finger at Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his brother Dzhokhar. In this article, I have chosen to highlight three of the most well-known media resources: Boston Fox 25 News TV, CNN TV and Press TV (Iranian). MethodIn a few days, it will be one year since the Boston Marathon. a massacre took place. This is one of the reasons that motivated me to do my research on this controversial topic. I previewed a total of 90 reports; 30 reports announced by each of the American media; FOX News TV and CNN. Additionally, I watched 30 reports published by an Iranian television station, Press TV. Next, I defined each report as positive, negative, or neutral. During my research, I reviewed more than the required number of reports published by numerous media outlets for this assignment.
