Essay / The language in The Poems of Earth's Last Night structured, so his poetic stories, which are snapshots from Bukowski's point of view, can be easily understood since the reader knows what people are experiencing in their lives. Thanks to this, the author was able to express his ideas fluently. Enjambments, the artificial line breaks used by poets to excite readers, throughout Bukowski's poetry make the reader wonder what the next line of a poem will be like. He also has readers read the rest of the poem as well as the book. The poet prefers to use unexpected line breaks because he wants to better draw the images with his stories rather than focusing on the other temperaments of poetry. Line breaks are the most visible feature of Bukowski's style which appears in the climax of the lines!
