Essay / A Career in Agricultural Education - 2118
INTRODUCTIONAgriculture occupies an important place in everyone's life, whether they realize it or not. Ordinary people come into contact with agricultural products such as food, clothing or shelter. Over the years, agriculture has undergone a radical change. When agriculture became an important part of people's lives, agriculture developed rapidly; many people farmed to be self-sufficient and thus could stay in one area instead of constantly moving around in search of food sources. Over time, agriculture evolved into what eventually became large commercial farms intended to provide food and other goods to an expanding country. Today, agricultural industries rely on large machines to minimize physical labor and produce as many goods as possible. Anyone who wants to work in an agricultural field must be willing and able to perform difficult physical tasks. Agricultural teachers must be prepared to teach their students these different tasks, how to perform them correctly, and be willing to help their students complete these tasks in the classroom. In addition to being dedicated to their students, an agriculture professor must also have a passion for agriculture. A good agriculture teacher must devote himself to his students and his work. People who have decided to become an agriculture teacher are usually inspired by one of their own teachers, or discover their interest on their own while working in an agricultural field.
