Evaluate how Ericsson has benefited from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in terms of cost reduction, automated software updates, access to distance and availability on demand. Amazon Web Services benefited Ericsson. Ericsson had specific business needs to support its business and Amazon Web Services was able to provide them with a robust global infrastructure that enabled Ericson to realize significant cost savings. AWS gave them the ability to scale their application based on demand or changes in the business. Remote assessment then enabled access to their systems via the cloud anytime, anywhere. Ericsson chose AWS because they are considered the best integrated public cloud provider. “The Ericsson team says it was important for them to have hosting centers in different regions. AWS has also demonstrated better quality of service with strong management and proven experience. (Amazon Web Services, 2012)Evaluate the scalability, reliability, manageability, and adaptability of Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Services (Amazon S3), and Right-Scale. There are many options offered by Amazon. Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) comes as follows: preconfigured software, complete environments, processors and memory. Scalability is also offered on a pay-as-you-go basis. The time required to implement a new server takes minutes and the capacity can be easily increased. You will only have to pay for everything you use when it comes to Amazon EC2. An application with foolproof guarantees can be developed with the use of Amazon EC2.
