I'm an education major but I wanted to go outside of my major and do my review of fashion websites. The two websites I chose were www.allure.com and www.teenvogue.com. I chose both websites because they offer popular magazines. Allure.com has Allure Magazine and teenvogue.com has Teen Vogue Magazine. Even though I'm not a big fashion enthusiast, I wanted to think outside the box a little. This was my first time visiting these two websites. Allure is a popular website among many teenagers and adults around the world. It covers a wide variety of topics from hair and makeup to the hottest celebrity gossip. This is a great website to learn about new advancements in skin and hair care that are making their way into consumer products. You will also learn new makeup application tips and techniques. It's full of Hollywood stuff, but who doesn't like reading about other people's lives? It contains interesting articles about fashion and helps you achieve all the latest trends. Even someone with the most boring sense of style can quickly turn heads. I think the audience for this website is hair and makeup junkies or fabulous tiny boppers looking to find an identity for themselves. Allure is for savvy women who want to be in the know. It keeps readers updated with all the latest fashion styles and how to wear them. It presents the most trendy clothes as well as the classics. Which bag is hot? Do these shoes suit you? How should I wear last year's sweater with this year's dress? Where can I find these great finds? You can find out all about it on the Allure website. The Allure website also reviews its readers' products and offers how-to articles to help readers make the decisions that are right in the middle of paper......e wearing. Many of the clothes advertised on the website are overpriced and often don't have enough thread to cover young girls' backs. Skimpy clothing seems to be in fashion but should not even be a thought in the minds of our young children. If you are not an aspiring fashion designer, this magazine is generally not for you. In conclusion, both of these websites are suitable for certain groups of people. It depends on which category you belong to. One website may suit the older, mature generation, while the other focuses on members of the younger generation who are still trying to find themselves and their fashion sense. There is something for everyone in each of them. These are good reads and you can always find good information there. Allure is aimed more at everyday girls, while Teen Vogue is aimed more at aspiring fashion designers..
