Essay / The Challenges of Writing with Dyslexia - 898
I haven't written much in the past. However, the writings I wrote were only for my school. I never liked writing, so I continued to write only about what I needed for school. But the types of writing I have done are reports, autobiographies, and writings about historical figures. I never wanted to do my writing assignments like I was supposed to, which didn't help me learn to write. I also have the writings I wrote last semester, which wasn't much. But the writing I did last semester helped my writing a lot. Last semester I learned how to write an article and what goes into an article; I didn't know much about writing until last semester. Additionally, I learned how to do MLA, which I didn't know how to do before. Writing is difficult and I don't see myself using writing often. I don't see myself using writing much in my future. I will only use writing when I need it for business. I'm not going to write all the time and I don't see myself using writing much once I finish school. So I'm going to try not to use writing too much, but when I need to, I know I'll have the skills to write. I hope I can get by with as little writing as possible once I finish school. I don't want to have to write a lot while I'm in school, but I know I will need to. However, I won't have a career where I have to write a lot. Writing is difficult for many reasons. I have dyslexia, which makes writing more difficult. Even though dyslexia makes school more difficult, I have never let it stop me and I'm not going to start now. Plus, I've never been good at finding words that sound good together and I don't like writing. I'm also not confident in my writing, I never think it's good. First things first...... middle of paper ......hey, I can't bring this up anymore. Especially when the child feels like they are really good at that subject or are studying really hard for the test. Writing isn’t for everyone, I know it’s not for me. Writing can be difficult and challenging, but also fun if you make writing happen. I never found writing fun, but I don't hate writing as much as I used to. Since I've started writing more and learned to write better, it's become a little more tolerable. I don't want to write a lot when I finish school, but when I have to, I now have the skills to write well.
