Marketing is the activity, set of institutions and processes for creating, communicating, proposing and exchanging offers that have value value for customers, partners and society as a whole. (Hair and Lamb, 2013). It's important to understand how to get the product to the customer and how to communicate information about your business to your customers. That being said, you must first come up with a marketing concept that is based on the idea that the social and economic justification for an organization's existence is the satisfaction of customer wants and needs while achieving organizational goals ( Hair & Lamb, 2013). Marketing includes transportation, social media, pricing and many other things. The next key function is office management. The planning, control and organization of office work are often delegated to an administrative manager. These responsibilities include things like payroll, human resources, and ensuring your staff has a safe and productive work environment. This is often an overlooked process, but it is just as essential as any other.
