The story "To Build A Fire" written by Jack London has two almost identical versions published in 1902 and 1908 respectively. The latter is better known and more thought-provoking due to The death of the antagonist. To begin with, the adventure took place on a bitterly cold day in the Klondike, consisting of a man and his dog. The man was not afraid of the cold and felt confident traveling alone at fifty degrees below zero. He unexpectedly broke through a thin layer of ice and got wet up to his knees. In an attempt to dry his feet, the man started a fire, which he then extinguished with a pile of snow dumped from a tree. another fire, but all attempts failed.
