  • Essay / The six dimensions of well-being - 1446

Well-being is a very important aspect when it comes to an individual's health. The six dimensions of well-being are social, professional, spiritual, physical, intellectual and emotional. It was developed to help people understand their overall well-being and health. Their main goal is for everyone to be strong in all these dimensions. The social dimension is the dimension that focuses on the individual's interactions and friendship with others. Social well-being is important because it helps shape a community. The city of Marquette, for example, has strong social well-being. Marquette is a beautiful town with lots of friendly people. Since everyone here has such strong social well-being, it makes for a nice place to live. Detroit, on the other hand, has lower social welfare. I don't mean to criticize Detroit, but it's not as friendly as the big city of Marquette. The majority of Detroit residents must have lower social welfare, making the city more dangerous to live in. Not everyone will be willing to help you or be your friend, unlike Marquette. My social well-being is pretty good. I love meeting people and developing friendships. Social welfare in my life is very important because I consider everyone equal. I will help others and my community every chance I get. Being socially active makes me happy and I hope others develop strong social well-being, just like me. Well-being at work is the attitude towards work. When an individual is working, it is essential to be happy. When someone is happy in their field of work, they will benefit their company much more than someone who is unhappy in their field of work. High well-being at work is important for health and happiness. If someone is in the middle of a paper......real well-being, I want to know more about myself. I want to learn what I can do. I was never very spiritual either. I never really go to church, which is bad since my family goes. I currently have excellent physical health, but I really want to improve it. Since I am in ROTC and will eventually be an officer in the military, it is absolutely important to me to be in the best shape possible. I really want to go to Ranger School and that requires being in the best physical shape possible. I'm currently very strong in emotional, social and professional well-being and I know I won't need to focus too much on that. However, I am always looking to improve. My overall goal in life is to be happy with who I am, what I am currently. I work hard to achieve my goals and usually achieve them. I also know that my personal well-being is strong and I intend to maintain it that way..
