Children in today's society seem distracted, inactive and at risk due to modern technology and social media. Technology can be an addition to a child's daily life, but it can also be a barrier to their quality of work, health, safety and education. Childhood obesity, educational problems, and childhood sexual abuse continue to rise, and part of the problem may be due to the technology we all love so much. In the United States, technology has grown rapidly and will continue to grow in our next generation. . Although this can be beneficial in many ways, it can lead to serious problems for children and young people. Today, parents allow their children to have devices such as cell phones to know their location and for safety reasons. Parents do not always take the dangers into consideration.
