Over the centuries, large corporations have continued to attempt to conquer land all over the world. Due to colonialism, imperialism, capitalism and globalization, many groups of indigenous peoples have been wiped out, oppressed and discriminated against. Several hundred years ago, European settlers arrived on a vast land populated by diverse groups of people who lived in harmony with their surroundings and surroundings. the environment. Europeans considered these people inferior because they were different from them. Colonization and imperialism led to terrible treatment of indigenous people. Europeans ended up fighting the indigenous people of North America for the lands they controlled, they killed them either through war and the diseases they brought with them, or they displaced them by signing with them treaties that placed indigenous peoples on reservations with infertile land. and few wild animals. Indigenous people could not survive on the land and had to rely on the government. In doing so, they slowly came to have to assimilate and abandon their traditional beliefs and values. Despite their assimilation, many people of Indigenous descent still live in poverty and continue to rely on government assistance and support. The destruction of the great variety of languages and cultures of indigenous peoples is a direct result of European imperialism and colonialism in North America. After the majority of imperialism and colonialism disappeared and capitalism began to take over many societies, cultural diversity diminished, as capitalism is not a very tolerant system towards of cultural diversity.
