    The previews of the film Remember Me make you assume that you are going to watch a romantic drama again, whose two main characters Tyler (Robert Pattinson) and Ally (Emilie de Ravin ) fall in love, with a few twists and turns, and finally live happily ever after. Instead, we are faced with two incredibly complicated characters whose lives unfold throughout the story. This film addresses the dynamics of grief and loss of a loved one and how it affects all aspects of interpersonal relationships. It affirms our nation's grief, personalizing the history and tragedy of September 11 while serving as a great tribute to those who died that day and all those who loved them. Tyler's character is an angry and confused 21 year old who also smokes. a lot, drinks too much and has no real plans for his future. The suicide of his older brother Michael turned his world upside down; he blames his father for the death, projecting all his anger and guilt onto him. According to Mental Health America, loss by suicide can be the most difficult form of loss. Family survivors experience feelings of guilt and anger over their loss. However, when grief becomes the center of the survivor's life; it becomes a complicated grief, which is often experienced after a loss such as suicide. Complicated grief is like being stuck in a state of intense grief, having difficulty accepting death long after it has happened, and being so overwhelmed by death that you are unable to live your own life. grief undermines your other relationships.
