Technology is a major component of today's society. From cell phones to free Wi-Fi in subway stations, people are constantly connected or using only one form of technology. However, this constant use of technology has its share of negative effects, particularly among young people aged 12 to 17. Growing up in an environment where everything is just a click away has affected their communication skills and interpersonal relationships to the point that some teenagers cannot hold a conversation or express themselves clearly. Technology has also created an addiction that didn't exist a decade ago. Today, more and more young people rely on technology to escape reality or social situations and feel the need to constantly be in contact with people they are not with. With this constant use of technology, there is an increase in psychological and physical problems as well as negative effects on the decision-making abilities of young people. Conversational skills are important for all people in all walks of life, but being able to hold a conversation and express yourself clearly is important. a crucial ability that young people must possess.
