    MARKETING CONCEPT IN ELECTRONIC ARTS1.0 TERMS OF REFERENCEThe report will present an implementation of the marketing concept in the business strategy of Electronic Arts. The report will evaluate the benefits and costs of Electronic Arts' marketing approach. All information must be submitted to Ms. Susan Campbell, HNC Course Coordinator, on October 25, 2007.2.0 PROCEDURE In order to analyze how the elements of the marketing concept are incorporated into the overall business plan of Electronic Arts (EA ), the following steps should be taken: 2.1 The main website of Electronic Arts should be consulted in order to obtain marketing information about the company. 2.2 Internet resources and books should be examined thoroughly to collect all relevant data on the implementation of the marketing concept. 2.3 All aspects of the marketing concept must be evaluated against EA. policies and analysis of the company's production, sales and promotion activities.3.0 RESULTS3.1 Satisfying the needs as a key part of the companyElectronic Arts started creating electronic drive software in 1982 and From that day on, the company grew rapidly to become one of the global leaders in the industry. The number of employees increased from two people to 7,900 worldwide at the beginning of 2007. The marketing concept is based on analyzing and satisfying customer needs and the EA management team knows well that the company would not survive if these needs were not met. Commitment to the customer is expressed in the company's code of conduct as one of the "action values" which are the principles on which the entire business idea is based (see appendix 1).3.1.1 Products for AllElectronic Arts guided by the marketing principle of meeting customer needs has created games that concern almost every aspect of human life. Sports, strategy, action games and even daily life simulators (Sims) are part of the company's gaming portfolio. EA leaves no user without access to its products and the company's titles are available on all gaming platforms like Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo and PC.3.1.2 Software DevelopersMany of the company's existing staff played games. EA games when they started creating their own works, so back then they were the customers – the gamers who bought the company's products.
