Has the internet done more harm than goodThe topic Has the internet done more harm than good is important because it has been debated countless times and is still ongoing. Hundreds of reasons support the arguments on both sides. The Internet is such an important place; it creates bridges to other countries and other people, but also destroys people's lives. More than 80,000 people are affected by phishing scams. The governments of our countries use it to spy and collect information about people; everyone uses it, everywhere in the world. On a global scale, the question is not whether the Internet has done good or bad, because it is so indispensable that the world simply would not function without it. What is called into question on the Internet, however, is the way in which it is used. People all over the world are exploiting the Internet to extract money and other things from people. Many governments are considering internet censorship to protect users from phishing, scams and fraud. The problem governments face when they censor the Internet is that they deprive citizens of the ability to surf the Web and perform searches. If a country, like China, censored its population's Internet, it would face enormous unrest and the government's popularity would drop significantly. The ability for anyone to post anything online without barriers has given rise to a large amount of information that could not only be incorrect but also be criminal, discriminatory or offensive if made available to the general public. This type of information would not usually be widely published through offline channels, but with the invention of the Internet, anyone can access it easily like never before, which is quite dangerous. In some countries, the Inter media... of paper... even exist in a library now takes only a few minutes to do research from home. The Internet virtually eliminates the hassle of going to a library alone, because there is a very large community that always adds to the enormous stock of information. Most of the bad things caused by the Internet already existed before, like "adult content." Although the Internet has made it much easier to find this adult content and fall into the traps set by predators, it has barely discovered and put into practice the idea that children watch adult content. Kids were acquiring adult magazines from random places decades before downloading images and viewing them on the Internet. The main point is that someone would be able to make a bomb out of thin air without the Internet, the only thing the Internet does is speed up this process..
