  • Essay / Teaching Philosophy Reflection Paper - 708

Once an individual becomes an educator, it is their duty to mentor and mentor them. Mentors then become involved in the fundamentals of student growth where the art of learning is never finished, especially for the teacher. Teachers can use a lesson plan to facilitate student learning, in which students collaborate with their mentors to build a relationship with the mentors, and then both teachers and students become active participants in the learning community. There is always something to learn from students, other teachers and the world in general. Dedication is at hand to establish a clear baseline between students and teachers. The relationship between them helps the educator meet students where they need to be. Educators must remain dedicated and treat their students with respect. This is where my training in philosophy begins. Education becomes the foundation of human interaction. I have seen the student-centered philosophies and would sort of consider myself to have a combination of progressive, constructivist, and humanist philosophies in the classroom. From my own personal experience, I have found that students have a significant impact on how teachers value them and recognize the art of teaching. To this day, I still enjoy being in a classroom knowing that the instructor loves what they do and how they do it. My old kids from my old daycare job loved it when I ran the summer program because I kept in touch with them and interacted a lot with my class. I realized that teachers who have stable and healthy relationships with their students are the most successful where students tend to take pride... middle of paper ...... of the curriculum I would prefer teachings on everyday topics that students might need for their future experiences. For example, I would love to have professors or teachers tell a story from their own personal experience related to the topic. Not only does this make the class more fun and interesting, but it also makes you as a student think that this teacher is reliable and knows what he or she is expressing. I believe that teaching and learning becomes a reciprocal development between the student and therefore the teacher must form a partnership. Education should be one of the most important factors in students' learning and development. This enriches the process of continued growth for them. Every child has the capacity to learn. I believe that the goals of education are beyond and essential for students not only to lead a successful life, but also to live their lives..
