Human Supremacy: Far From Reality Human beings have progressed to a point where survival from the outside world is almost impossibly easy. They created cures and inventions that could improve their daily lifestyle. They are also the only species to alter the planet in every way imaginable. Does this make humans the dominant species? Because most people assume that they have the right to control other animals, they assume that they belong to the superior species. People's lifestyles suggest that they are doing well. However, people often seem to forget that they are animals too. Humans are not superior to animals, they are just different. The belief in human superiority, also known as anthropocentrism, is a vague and biased view. This can be seen as the idea of racial, gender, or religious supremacy. People cannot compare themselves as a whole and to animals if they have little understanding of how animals, other than themselves, think. As humans they would like to think of themselves as important, but in most cases people think that as a species they are the most important....
