Looking around, she notices the parts of the noose the man used among a pink rose. Finally, Myop laid down her flowers and it was said that “summer was over”. Symbolism like this is extremely miraculous and charming to me. One of the most obvious clues is the name Myop, which is probably short for "nearsightedness." To be nearsighted is essentially to be nearsighted. Myop is a young and innocent ten-year-old who is probably unaware of the dangers and struggles of the world around her. The flowers represent her innocence, and when she places them after seeing the body, it symbolizes the loss of her innocence. The distance that separates Myop from her home could represent the distance that separates her from everything she has felt before.
