Essay / Shakespeare and his legacy - 1649
IntroductionEveryone thinks they know great poets, but no one can compare to William Shakespeare. We all have a time in our life where we can feel emotional and poetic, well that was Shakespeare's daily life. Over time we have had many extraordinary poets, but Shakespeare is arguably the best poet of all time. He was a normal man of his time and suffered from the Black Death, in Europe, early in his life, which killed many families, but fortunately his family survived. From his transition from a difficult youth to his depressing downfall to a successful adult life, Shakespeare wrote more than 100 plays and sonnets. Although many people enjoy his plays and sonnets, some critics have created a lot of controversy by believing that Shakespeare did not write any of his plays and that he rewrote other people's old plays. Even with all these false accusations, Shakespeare's legacy is still there. Early life William Shakespeare's early life is very unclear to many people, but his legacy was still great. William Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon Avon, England. Shakespeare's exact birth date is unknown but we celebrate it on April 25. We know that he was baptized in Holy Trinity Church in Stratford in 1564. They chose this day because it is a public holiday in England filled with plays and parties that seemed appropriate to honor their greatest. playwright (Who was William Shakespeare? pages 6-7). Shakespeare was born into a world where books had to be rewritten to accommodate them and most people learned to read or write that way. Shakespeare became interested in plays while learning plays and folk tales on the streets. William never finished school, so most people think that's why he didn't write... in the middle of his sheet of paper... the whole time he was writing plays. When he left, the game was stopped and people only started playing after he returned. This is why people considered Shakespeare to be the best author of all time. Although all of Shakespeare's plays can be considered masterpieces, some people doubted his work. They would create controversy over whether he wrote his work or whether he took credit for what others were doing. Even though there are people who believe this, we have no proof and we don't know what happened during this time, so we can believe whatever we want but we will never know.
