Culture and Role Definition of LeadershipSummaryI believe that a person can learn to lead and manage, but one cannot learn to lead and manage effectively and successfully . I don't believe the organization's corporate culture is to blame. I think leading and managing depends on the individual person. How this person is motivated, how they see themselves. Can he lead effectively or is he managing at the level he has. A leader will effectively orchestrate change, create a vision, inspire people to follow the vision, and keep people focused on an ideal future. What is culture? First I want you to understand what culture is. culture is because understanding culture means understanding the organization. According to anthropologist James Sparely, culture is “the acquired knowledge that people use to interpret experience and generate behavior.” Culture can be interpreted in many ways, such as national/ethnic culture, secondary or subgroup culture, culture in the anthropological sense, and culture with a capital C. National/ethnic culture is described as how a person was raised as a child, such as African American culture or Chinese culture. This interpretation is a very narrow view because it is abnormal and it also raises challenges in the communication of our virtual team. Secondary or subgroup culture is described as our social groups such as the women's group or the golf group. Culture in the anthropological sense refers to the behaviors we share over time and capital C culture refers to the performing arts. Individuals from different cultures vary in terms of behaviors and communication styles (Gudykunst, 1997). Edward Halls in the middle of the document......in the mission and vision wing stated that this company has been highly successful in its leadership in maintaining a healthy organizational culture. I think the key to a healthy organizational culture is truly a great leader. A motivated leader, a leader with life skills and not just teaching skills. This leader must know what to expect from his members because his vision is clear and concise. This leader will not only have plans for current activities, but also for future endeavors, ensuring that his followers can see that future and actually taste success. A great leader trains others to come before him when he can no longer lead, ensuring his vision remains alive. .com
