Essay / From Heaven to Hell - 1185
It was a pleasant day in Villaviva, as usual. The white fences gleamed in the sun and the trimmed maples lining the sidewalk swayed in the zephyrs. The crystal blue lake that stretched for miles sparkled and the leaves of the lush green forest rustled softly. Kelly Tate balanced a straw basket on her hip as she picked fresh peppers from The Grove, a garden where food was forever, coming from anywhere. cherry bread. A few peppers fell to the ground but Kelly ignored them. Someone who works here will come get them, she thought. But as soon as she flipped her strawberry blonde hair behind her, her arm started to tingle. Kelly sprinted faster and adrenaline rushed to her head. She reached the familiar Tudor house in which she had spent most of her childhood and knocked on the red door. Luke opened the door and was speechless. The last thing he expected was to see Kelly panting on his porch after 2 years. He felt a pang of happiness; he missed her. Kelly hugged him tightly and said into his shoulders, her voice breaking, “I’m so sorry. You were right Luc. We're next, what do we do? Luke patted him awkwardly on the back. They broke apart abruptly and Kelly's eyes searched his face for an answer. Luke snapped out of his daze and smiled sinisterly, "Come in, I have a plan..”
