Essay / The Risk of CO2 Emissions - 998
As humanity faces many natural disasters resulting from its reckless overuse of resources, going green and being eco-friendly are the latest precautions that everyone seems to be taking to save the planet. Rising levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere are a major concern for everyone, including environmentalists and scientists. Since the Industrial Revolution in the mid-1700s, when people began burning fossil fuels, the air has been continually polluted to the point that this situation is now almost inevitable. The emissions have been recognized as the most serious by the biggest polluters, namely the multinational companies, and they have taken appropriate measures to reduce CO2 emissions as much as possible. Using particular case studies, I will list the factors and company ideas that have prevented CO2 emissions through ecotechnology. As many businesses have begun to adapt to ongoing climate change, the priority for most has become the need to reduce emissions and secure their future rather than focusing on reducing their costs. as much as possible, as I have done so far. . I chose to research three companies, differing in their areas of activity. I will observe through the case studies how each year's projects can affect CO2 emissions and do companies really take into consideration to avoid causing the most harm to the environment and be positively sure of cooperate to reduce levels of pollution in the atmosphere. The first company I will investigate is "Nike", which in 2011 was number five on the list of top six companies that showed year-over-year revenue growth as well as...... middle paper......the other two companies I talked about in my essay, "Apple", are demonstrating tremendous results in their goal of minimizing their impact on the environment, something we should all be grateful for ( Apple.com, 2013).
