The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) is located in South Asia on the planet map. it was supported in 1985 with the aim of promoting the socio-economic development of Member States through their mutual cooperation and common work in a spirit of relationship, trust and understanding. Efforts to establish the union were initially mooted by the late King Birendra, monarch of the Kingdom of Nepal, as well as adapted by the other member countries. The SAARC region has eight member states: Asian country, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and also the Maldives. The Asian nation, the eighth associate member state, joined SAARC as an associate degree enlargement in 2007. SAARC is home to approximately 1/4 of the world's population. States like Australia, China, international organization, Japan, Iran, Mauritius], Myanmar, Republic of Korea, United States are observers of the SAARC region. SAARC has a four-tier structural framework which includes the Annual Summit (meeting of the Heads of Presidency of Member States), Council of Ministers (once in six months), Standing Committees of Secretaries and Technical Committees . of consultants and officers. SAARC works according to the principles of cooperation for mutual borders, respecting the sovereign equality, territorial integrity, political equality and independence of all member states and non-interference in the internal affairs of different States. All choices are taken jointly based on the agreement of the eight members and only tripartite issues (involving several countries) are mentioned keeping biased bilateral issues.
