Statistics contains the development of procedures and tests used to describe the variability characteristic of data, the probabilities of certain results, and the errors and doubts related to these results. Some statistics are influenced, some are based on beliefs and still others are false. A common misunderstanding is that statistics provide a certain degree of proof that something is correct. Alternatively, statistics provide a measure of the probability of observing a certain outcome. It is easy to mistreat statistical analysis, even to the point of making mistakes, because statistics does not familiarize us with the organized or systematic errors that can be introduced into data, whether deliberately or not. There are many related variables in the statistical numbers that the person analyzing the information does not perceive, and without further clarification or supporting data, one may simply assume a bad hypothesis and the scientific data could be presented as facts rather than like a coincidence. Statistics can only be supported if taken on a small scale, because the larger the scale, the more perplexing they become and the more people abandon them due to their complexity, or get caught up in them like a prayer and achieve the goals that the publisher set when he/she published it. Misleading or misinterpreted statistics can have an undesirable influence on people who use the data, because having the wrong information can lead people to form unfair opinions and make poor choices that can cost them dearly or create major setbacks..
