Essay / Christianity, Sex and Love - 1387
Prudence is defined as practical common sense. Temperance is self-control. Know when to stop yourself from having a limit. Teetotalism is also temperance (?) abstaining from alcohol. Chastity would be the innocence or purity of moral sexuality. Always be “virgin”. Defined analytically as a practice of abstaining from sexual intercourse. Modesty would mean being true to oneself with self-awareness or simply being defined as being relatively moderate or intending to avoid impropriety. The rules of modesty count according to different situations while chastity would always be the same for Christians. The definition of chastity for Christians is: “Either marriage, with total fidelity to the other, or total abstinence.” Chastity and the social rule of modesty should not be confused. The Christian rule of chastity should not be confused with the social rule of modesty. It's either marrying someone, being faithful and loyal to your partner, or abstaining altogether. The purpose of sex is to reproduce God's children. The purpose of sex is to make children, just as the purpose of eating is to repair the body. The striptease analogy of women or girls undressing on stage is compared to a plate with a piece of bacon. If this exhibit was deemed popular in a certain country, it would likely mean that the people in that country were starving. The result of this act is not sexual corruption but sexual starvation. The human race, modern people have two thoughts about "Sex is nothing to do". be ashamed.” One of them is that it is nature's way of reproducing and creating a living baby. The other is the fact that it gives pleasure. According to CSL, Christians also think the same thing. It is one of the religions that welcomes and accepts the beauty of our body. Not being ashamed of sex would actually mean “the state in which the sexual instinct no longer has any reason to be ashamed”. It's like enjoying sex without being ashamed of it, like enjoying eating without being ashamed of it. Although saying that “sex is nothing to be ashamed of; there is no shame in the state in which the sexual instinct finds itself today. This statement makes everything false. CSL thought he was ashamed of it in every way. With the food analogy, it would be wrong and shameful IF the world made food their main interest in life and spent their lives looking at pictures of food and smacking their lips..
