James Madison was the fourth president of the United States of America. He was known as one of the Founding Fathers and helped author the Federalist Papers and much more. He accomplished a lot in his time. Madison was liked by many and was good at what he did. He was one of the most memorable presidents in history. James Madison helped sculpt the government of his time. Madison was born March 16, 1751, in Orange County, Virginia. He is the son of James Madison Sr. and Eleanor Rose Conway. He had 12 brothers and sisters, 9 of whom survived. In 1794 he married Dolly Madison, with whom he spent the rest of his life. Madison was homeschooled from a young age and later went to prep school. After that, he attended the College of New Jersey, known today as Princeton. He learned Latin and Greek and studied. It covers Hebrew and philosophy. He studied law at home but didn't have much interest in it. Madison's health was deteriorating after graduation, so he lived at home and continued his education.
