    Children throughout the United States and California, particularly in Orange County, have an infamously high rate of child abuse. Right now, a child is being reported for abuse. People don't realize that this can happen in the family home, in the house next door, or even in the next room. Child abuse is happening everywhere and anywhere right now and we need to be aware of every aspect of the effect and morality it has on children who may or may not survive these abusive lifestyles . On the website www.brightfutures4kids.org, there were so many shocking facts and helpful programs aimed at preventing child abuse in families who want to put an end to these mishaps. There are infant, toddler, visitation and basic needs programs. etc. Each is provided with a system of checks to help prevent abuse in all families. For mental health, two programs are offered: home health services welcomed “24 families with 115 therapeutic sessions with 147 hours of service” and crisis stabilization at home “served 235 families with 9,535 hours of service” . There are many other programs that provide help and all of them have large numbers of families receiving help with their “mental health.” Thanks to this, the number of admitted families is provided, the rate of child abuse is high. “Every year in the United States, approximately 900,000 children are victims of abuse, and 18,000 are disabled for life,” is a fact written in the statistics theme in “Prevalence of Child Abuse.” Too many incidents of abuse are happening and it's all Orange County's responsibility. Another website, www.kidsmatterinc.org, has information about awareness, as well as other websites that have been researched.
