Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Askaban is the third book in the Rowlings series in which Harry prevents Lupine and Sirius from committing a mortal sin, by saving Wormtail. Another passage takes place in the final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, when Harry leaves Hogwarts to fight Voldemort in the Forbidden Forest and sacrifices himself for the well-being of his friends.
