Technology is developing every day. We use technology for everything we do, sometimes without even thinking about it. In our world, these advancements are used for communication, entertainment, and education, among other things. Since technology is so deeply ingrained in our lives, the extent to which we use and depend on it is often overlooked. Our education system is at the forefront of using new technologies in the classroom. More and more classrooms and teachers are integrating it into their lesson plans and making it more accessible for students to use in class. Technology is changing the way students are educated in America and around the world. In this article I will discuss several ways to see and improve this. Although there are many ways in which education affects and can be properly integrated into an education system, there are a few ways that will be most effective. These are the building blocks of a solid foundation; making classroom technology a school-wide program, integrating what is learned using technology with other means of learning, teaching students how technology affects them outside of the classroom and s ensure that teachers use technology in their classrooms effectively and are proficient with the technology themselves. It is first important to understand how many students are affected by this new way of education. The United States of America currently has a population of 317,184,764. The United States currently ranks third in terms of overall population, after China and India. (Bureau, 2013) It is mandatory for every child to attend school until they reach the legal age of 18 or the age of 16 with parental consent.
