  • Essay / Our Earth's needs for natural renewable energy sources

Renewable energy sources are energy from natural sources that encourage many governments to launch programs to produce energy from renewable sources for reduce the use of fossil fuels due to our dependence on fossil fuels. energy pollutes the atmosphere with greenhouse gases, such as nitrogen oxides, volatile organic compounds, sulfur dioxide and heavy metals, leading to serious consequences for the planet's ecosystems, including forests and climate. Not only could fossil fuels produce energy, but there are other ways to produce energy as well. For example, Germany and Spain have started using wind power and solar power as their primary energy sources. Wind energy is the process by which wind is transformed into a useful form of energy. energy, for example by using wind turbines to produce electrical energy. Moreover, I think that wind energy is an alternative way of producing energy to fossil fuels, and this is because wind can be found in large quantities at any time, as it also does not pollute the environment during the operational phase. Additionally, it uses little land, has fewer environmental effects, and is generally less problematic than those from other energy sources. Additionally, wind energy produces 2.5 watts per square meter (MacKay, 2010). As a result, the installed capacity of wind power in Germany was 29,075 megawatts (Anon., nd), producing about 8 percent of Germany's total electrical energy, while the installed capacity of Spain was 20,661 megawatts, or about 23 percent of Spain's total electrical energy. (Pilarmgarre, 2011). Germany comes second in wind energy production with over 21,607 wind turbines located in the German federal zone and the country will increase the number of wind turbines in...... middle of paper.... .. high taxes for industries that use fossil fuels. Finally, the government can organize an event with famous personalities to raise awareness of the importance of renewable energies on our environment.BibliographyAnon., nd Shelf3d.
