2. Education was and still is considered one of the most vital aspects of an individual's life. The aim was to strengthen existing schools, build new ones, appoint competent teachers despite their past or current allegiances and create a positive learning and teaching atmosphere for educators and learners. However, for Africa, nothing is happening as hoped. Angie Motshekga, South Africa's education minister, did not mince words when addressing her colleagues at an ANC rally: "If 25% [of students] fail , we should have sleepless nights,” she told local media: “This amounts to a national crisis.” Considering the comment from the South African Minister of Education, it clearly shows that the standard of education provided in Africa is poor. It is not necessarily the teachers' fault for poor education, but also the infrastructure of the school environment as well as the lack of educational resources for learners, which play a role on poor.
