Analytical Deconstruction of Led Zeppelin's IV . Combining various different influences with the skill of these musicians, this album has come together to achieve the legendary status that many hold high. Recorded and written from December 1970 to November 1971, this album served as a source of inspiration for many other musicians when creating their own work. But what inspired this legendary group to create this album? Comprised of Robert Plant on vocals, Jimmy Page on lead guitar, John Paul Jones on bass and John Bonham on drums, this group established itself as one of the greatest rock and roll groups of all time. The creation of the album “Led Zeppelin IV” reinforces this idea. There was a lot of pressure on Led Zeppelin regarding this album due to the commercial success of their first two albums "Led Zeppelin I" and "Led Zeppelin II". This, combined with the surge in popularity and conflicts with the Beatles, placed a great weight on the shoulders of these four musicians. Due to this pressure, the band's manager at the time pushed the band to create the best album to date and not let disappointment in terms of sales (compared to other albums) than their previous album (Led Zeppelin III) had provoked. The choice of cover album was seen in the music industry as a gamble that ultimately paid off. The cover consists of an old man carrying a bundle of sticks on his back, while the inside only contained 4 symbols and some lyrics from “Stairway To Heaven”.
