    “Habit is stronger than reason” I believe that habit is indeed stronger than reason. However, to fully prove this statement, we must first understand what exactly constitutes a habit. Habits can range from daily routines, such as brushing our teeth or combing our hair, to the very knowledge we are taught. It is a tendency to do something routinely or regularly or an automatic reaction to certain situations (I want to rethink my definition). Habits are often difficult to break, and habitual desires can often be stronger than reason. For example, our sleeping habits are part of our habits. If I had to go to sleep at 3 a.m. every night, but one day I chose to go to bed earlier (say 9:30 p.m.), it would be difficult to just go to bed at that time, even if I am aware of how much sleep I need to be productive. My body would be accustomed to sleeping at a certain time and it would be difficult to change this habit. Logic is a vital part of reason, but it is rarely linked to habit.
